Blog Post 2: My first step towards achieving my goals was getting my hands on a ukulele. Fortunately, UVic allows students to borrow instruments for free! This was a huge bonus as I wanted to learn on a budget. It was very simple to sign out a ukulele through the music department and easy to transport as they’re quite small. I have started to look at my first steps and found that I need to tune the ukulele before I can move forward in my learning journey. Thankfully, I have found an app that helps tune instruments for those who are beginning to learn. This fantastic app called Ukulele Tuner is straightforward and user-friendly. I recommend utilizing this app if you are first starting out.
